This State Park/Beach requires dogs be on a 6 foot leash
at all times!



  • Bring Your Own Basset(s) and 6 foot leash & pickup bags
  • Bring Your Own Food & Drink
  • Bring Water for Your Basset(s)
  • Dress appropriately - it may be overcast; sunscreen, etc.
  • Chairs, coolers, towels, etc. if desired
  • $10.00 per car for parking



San Fernando Valley:
101 West/North
Exit Las Virgenes
Left at end of Ramp
Las Virgenes turns into Malibu Canyon
Right at Pacific Coast Hwy
Drive PCH about 14 miles
Exit Right into Leo Carrillo State Park


From the westside:
Drive PCH about 14 miles past Malibu Canyon.
Exit Right into Leo Carrillo State Park


At Guard Shack pay $10.00 for day parking.


Drive straight from Guard Shack and
follow road under highway 'til you see
lifeguard tower #5. Park anywhere.

It took me about 45 Min. from Tarzana
with light traffic.

    I was really disappointed that I had to miss this event. I am sure it was a lot of fun.
