Hi basset people!

Everything is new for JUNE (can't believe its June)! The poll we took a few months back did have some people asking for Saturday meet-up, so no time like the present to try it out. Also, in hopes of great weather and my very hectic schedule in June, we're going to try meet-up at Hondo Park, the new dog park in Hillsboro. I've been there many times, its a nice park and right off Hwy 26 near the Hillsboro Stadium. Here's some links to more info:

General directions:

  • From Hwy 26
  • Take the Cornelius Pass Road exit SOUTH
  • You'll go over the freeway & see a Fred Meyer on your right
  • Right on Imbrie (will be the 2nd light - before McMenamins)
  • Right on Evergreen
  • Right on 229th
  • Dog park will be on your left around the bend
  • Parking is sparse, but overflow parking is across the street at the stadium (you can park on the side of the road leading TO the stadium)

See you soon!

Woof!

Whew! No rain, just clouds :) We had 8 bassets show up today and pretty much had the whole small dogs area to ourselves. The poochies seemed to have a good time sniffing and a little bit of chasing.
    •  It was a great first meetup for me - I loved meeting my fellow hound-dog owners & their pups. I just wish there had been more of us! Hopefully next time...
    •  Love the outdoors meet-up.
