Basset Owners and Dog Lovers, join in the fun! Newcomers encouraged to attend!

Come meet other basset owners and their pooches, share training tips and tricks, chat about basset health and nutrition and just have fun with a barrel full of bassets!

We will be holding our meetup at a San Diego off leash dog park so we ask that only well socialized bassets attend. The park is fully fenced for safety and offers a drinking fountain for our four legged friends! Restrooms are onsite as well.

Be sure to bring your pup and your friends! We also encourage you to bring your dog's favorite toy, extra waste bags and most importantly, your camera! Please refrain from bringing food or dog treats to the park as some dogs may get possessive!

There is a local, dog friendly cafe/brewpub basset owners and their pooches can go to for a snack after the meetup! If enough of us go there, they may consider donating some of the proceeds to Basset Hound Rescue of San Diego. The name of the place is called Monica's at the Park and the address is:

      “ Great turn out...several new people with some adorable bassets. Wilbur as usual had a great time! ”
